Motion Details
That this House expresses its strong opposition to the common practice of bull fighting in Spain; notes that 35,000 bulls are tormented and killed in bull fights every year in Spain; deplores the manner in which the bulls are stabbed, drugged and beaten in order to provide entertainment with thousands of people taking pleasure in watching the fights and determining whether the bull deserves to live; and calls on the Spanish Government to put a stop to bull fighting and ensure that better standards of welfare are imposed.
