FOOTBALL IN NORTH-EAST WALES (24 January 2002)
Motion Details
That this House recognises the contribution of Wrexham Association Football Club and North-East Wales to Welsh and British football; notes the strong footballing tradition in North-East Wales commemorated by the recently opened exhibition of the 'History of Football in Wales' in Wrexham; welcomes the willingness of the Football Association of Wales to consider the possibility of playing some of Wales' International football matches in Wrexham; and calls upon the Football Association of Wales to bring International football back to Wrexham.
