LENNOX LEWIS'S VICTORY (9 June 2002)
Motion Details
That this House congratulates Lennox Lewis on retaining his heavyweight championship of the world; notes that, in doing so, he beat one of boxing's most fearsome and successful fighters; recognises that this victory was achieved in his opponent's own country; and given all the circumstances, believes that Lennox Lewis's victory was an historic and outstanding performance by any standard.
