TAX THRESHOLD FOR REDUNDANCY PAY (14 May 2002)

Motion Details

That this House notes that the tax threshold for redundancy pay has remained at its present level of ú30,000 for many years; and calls upon the government to raise the threshold to ú40,000 and thereafter to increase the threshold annually in line with the percentage increase in national average earnings.
