CORPORATE MANSLAUGHTER (8 May 2002)
Motion Details
That this House notes that, in the five years to 2002, 2,286 people were killed at work in the United Kingdom; welcomes Government moves to introduce a new criminal offence of corporate killing to be applied to cases where employers kill their employees by gross carelessness; and calls upon the Government to make parliamentary time available to establish the bill in statute.
