ME AWARENESS WEEK (8 May 2002)
Motion Details
That this House welcomes the International ME Awareness Day on 12th May as part of the awareness week from 12th to 18th May; recognises the debilitation of the illness that affects approximately 150,000 people in the United Kingdom; acknowledges the difficulties there have been in diagnosis and recognition; and requests greater research into ME and additional medical, welfare and benefit provision for sufferers and their carers.
