IRISH REFERENDUM AND THE ENLARGEMENT OF THE EU (20 October 2002)

That this House warmly welcomes the results of the Irish referendum on the Nice Treaty which clears the way for the historic enlargement of the European Union which will provide enormous benefits to the existing EU countries and those countries that have applied to join.
