PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
RESTRICTION ON THE SALE OF FIREWORKS (16 October 2002)
Motion Details
That this House believes that the time has come for the sale of fireworks to be severely restricted as their use has become a continual nuisance to ordinary members of the public over an increasingly extended period around bonfire night; and calls upon the Government to investigate this issue as a matter of urgency and to make proposals which would restrict the sale and use of fireworks to organised groups who operate safe firework displays.
