PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
DAIRY FARMING AND SUPERMARKETS (15 October 2002)

Motion Details

That this House welcomes the decision taken by ASDA and Tesco to give an extra two pence per litre direct to dairy farmers for their milk; acknowledges the help and support given by these two supermarket chains; and looks forward to the same initiative to be taken by other supermarket chains to help dairy farmers through these difficult times and help to ensure British dairy farming has a sustainable future.
