PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
AVAILABILITY OF NHS CHIROPODY SERVICES (22 July 2002)
Motion Details
That this House is deeply concerned at the unreasonably wide regional variations in the availability of NHS chiropody services, in that twice as many new cases are being taken on in some NHS regions, such as the North West and the South West, as in the South East and Eastern regions; notes that the Government is fully aware of the situation, but has failed to act; and calls on the Secretary of State for Health to publish the report of his review, known as Feet First II, and to make a statement on how he intends to respond to these concerns.
