PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PEN NEEDLES FOR DIABETICS (9 February 2000)
Motion Details
That this House welcomes the availability of pen needles and the continued availability of disposable pens on prescription for insulin-dependent diabetics; recognises the campaign fought by the British Diabetic Association, the All Party Parliamentary Group on Diabetes, and other honourable Members; and commends the Secretary of State for Health for bringing about this change that will benefit hundreds of thousands of diabetics with the management of their condition.
