FEMALE EXPEDITION TO THE NORTH AND SOUTH POLE (25 January 2000)

Motion Details

That this House congratulates the five British women for managing to enter the record books by becoming the first all-female expedition to reach both North and South Poles; pays tribute to the five women involved for their effort and determination; hopes that this contributes to their efforts to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics UK, Britain's biggest sports charity; and hopes to see future British expeditions achieve similar success.
