PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
ROTARY CLUBS (17 January 2000)

Motion Details

That this House, in recognition of the service undertaken by members of Rotary clubs both in the United Kingdom and throughout the world, over the past 95 years, including the virtual eradication of polio through the polio-plus programme and countless schemes benefiting underprivileged, disabled and disadvantaged members of communities at home and abroad, urges Her Majesty's Government to further harness the enthusiasm and talents of Rotarians by encouraging their participation in community-based projects and initiatives wherever and whenever possible.
