PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
NHS AND THE PAY REVIEW BODY (1 March 2000)
Motion Details
That this House notes that for the second year running NHS professional, technical and scientific staff outside the Pay Review Body have received pay increases less than those awarded to comparable staff within the Pay Review Body; and calls upon the Secretary of State to take steps to remedy that situation in this year's pay round to avoid an adverse impact on the services these staff provide and to clarify precisely which NHS professions and related grades will move to Pay Review Body status in order to help stem declining morale and help retain these skills for the NHS.
