MOZAMBIQUE: MEDIUM-TERM LESSONS (28 February 2000)

Motion Details

That this House urges the Government to discuss with Commonwealth partners the establishment of a rapid reaction commonwealth network for disaster aid, with small permanent centres in Africa and the Indian subcontinent and funding of helicopter, engineer and other units to be maintained nationally but provided to the network for joint training and use in disaster relief.
