Government Support For Khmer Rouge (5 December 1989)

Motion Details

That this House welcomes Coventry City Council's call for the immediate withdrawal of the British military advisers to the Khmer Rouge forces presently based in Thailand, who are using terrorist tactics on the de facto government of Cambodia, the cessation of all support to the Khmer Rouge forces and their representatives in the United Nations, for the British Government to fight against the continuing Cambodian place being taken at the United Nations by the Khmer Rouge and for the Khmer Rouge leadership to be brought before the World Court for the crime of genocide against their peoples.
