HOME CARERS (27 June 2000)
Motion Details
That this House applauds the loving care provided by the 5.7 million carers looking after their ill, disabled or elderly relatives throughout the United Kingdom; notes that this care has been valued at ú34 billion each year; welcomes Her Majesty's Government's pledge to review invalid care allowance, the main carers' benefit; and asks that Her Majesty's Government makes more money available for respite care and training.
