Motion Details
That this House congratulates Mr Wayne Goss and the Queensland Labour Party on a sweeping victory which ends 32 years of corrupt right-wing rule; believes that the conduct of Sir Johannes Bjelke-Petersen and his cronies discredited the honours system; and looks forward to a Labour government which will defend the important environmental features of Queensland which its predecessors ruthlessly eroded.
