That this House congratulates Northumbria Ambulance Workers and the Regional Health Authority on the restoration of accident and emergency cover after the provocations of the Chief Ambulance Officer, Mr Laurie Caple; notes the widespread concern over a long period at Mr Caple's intemperate behaviour; and calls for his suspension pending an inquiry into his management of the Northumbria Ambulance Service.
