CERVICAL CANCER TEST (8 December 1998)
Motion Details
That this House warmly congratulates scientists at the Cancer Research Campaign on their pioneering research and development of a new test for cervical cancer; believes the new test could end the high error rate of current tests and offer a safer future for women's health; welcomes the positive response of the Secretary of State for Health; urges all concerned to progress the new methodology; and wishes the Cancer Research Campaign well in their efforts to extend the new technique to developing tests for other cancers.
