OFFICIAL RECOGNITION OF THE IRISH IN BRITAIN (5 March 1999)

Motion Details

That this House congratulates the Government on its proposal to include the Irish as an ethnic group in the 2001 Census, which will be the first time the Irish in Britain have been officially recognised and awarded this status.
