GOVERNMENT'S ALLOCATION OF LOTTERY FUNDS (8 February 1999)

leave out from 'House' to end and add 'congratulates the Government on introducing the sixth lottery good cause, the New Opportunities Fund; notes that the Government has guaranteed that the health, education and environmental initiatives it will support are additional to existing government expenditure; further notes that the new fund enjoys the support of over 90 per cent. of the population; and sees this as yet another example of the Government delivering on its manifesto promises in stark contrast to the discredited administration it replaced.'.
