WHEEL CLAMPING ON PRIVATE LAND (3 February 1999)
Motion Details
That this House notes with great concern the lack of regulations governing the practice of wheel clamping of vehicles on private land; condemns firms that entice motorists to park on private land to carry out wheel clamping; condemns the indiscriminate fines levied by firms that carry out wheel clamping; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to introduce legislation to regulate all aspects of wheel clamping on private land with great urgency.
