SOUTH CROFTY TIN MINE (19 January 1999)
Motion Details
That this House welcomes the news that contracts have been exchanged for the sale of the last tin mine in Europe, South Crofty in Cornwall; looks forward to new enterprises developing on the site and the mining of tin recommencing; and congratulates the honourable Member for Falmouth and Camborne for brokering the deal, enabling the exchange to take place.
