PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
RENEWABLE ENERGY REVIEW (19 January 1999)

That this House congratulates the Government on its recent steps to extend the Non Fossil Fuels Obligation to include more renewables-sourced energy, but is alarmed at the rapidly-growing evidence of climate change, particularly in terms of melting of the Arctic ice cap and rising sea levels which threaten wildlife habitats and major heritage sites; and therefore calls on the Government urgently to consider the days of publication of its review of renewable energy sources.
