PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUICIDE MANUALS (24 November 2004)
Motion Details
That this House deeply regrets the tragic death of 19-year old Sarah Cherry; and calls upon the Attorney General to investigate whether legal action can or should be taken against those who write, publish, sell material or distribute information on the internet about how to commit suicide, particularly when they are reckless about making this available to those who are young and vulnerable.
