PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PRIVATE MEMBERS' LEGISLATION (13 May 1999)
Motion Details
That this House, bearing in mind the ability of very small groups of Members to obstruct all private members' legislation, and noting in particular the blocking of the widely-supported Fur Farming (Prohibition) Bill, urges the Select Committee on the Modernisation of the House of Commons to review how Private Members' Bills are handled.
