PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PAUL FOOT (14 April 1999)

Motion Details

That this House is dismayed to learn of the sudden and serious illness of one of the country's greatest campaigning journalists, Paul Foot, whose tireless efforts in speeches, articles and books have led to the righting of many wrongs and whose mightly pen has punctured much pomposity and exposed hypocrisy and cant; and expresses its collective hope for his full and speedy recovery and his return to the front line of British journalism.
