PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
FOREIGN DONATIONS TO THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY (13 April 1999)

Motion Details

That this House deplores the acceptance by the Conservative Party of donations of ú18,000 from a London-based front company for the Milosevic regime which remains on a US blacklist because of its close financial ties with Serbia; and, in view of the Conservative Party's belated acceptance of the need to refuse foreign donations, calls on the Leader of Her Majesty's Opposition to make a consequent donation of ú18,000 to a suitable charity to help the Kosovo Albanians who are now suffering at the hands of the Serbian armed forces.
