PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
MEMORIAL TO DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES (24 March 1999)
Motion Details
That this House cannot understand why some 18 months after the death of Princess Diana there is still no permanent memorial to her; urges the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Princess Diana Memorial Committee to consider the construction of such a memorial as a matter of urgency; and supports the Sunday People in its campaign for a memorial to be built to commemorate her life and work.
