SHELTERED ACCOMMODATION AND HOUSING BENEFIT (17 March 1999)
Motion Details
That this House welcomes the Supporting People consultation document which sets out proposals for a new system for funding supported housing; congratulates the Government on its commitment to providing a more coherent structure for funding supported housing; and joins with Abbeyfields, Age Concern, Anchor and the National Housing Federation in asking the Government to consider the case for services provided in traditional sheltered accommodation to remain eligible for housing benefit.
