PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
Proposed Selling-off of Liverpool Health Centres (12 February 1990)
Motion Details
That this House is totally opposed to selling off eight Liverpool health centres to local general practitioners; supports the opposition of Central and Southern Community Health Council, the Labour Women's Council, and the Campaign Committee Against Cuts in the National Health Service; recalls that the health centres were paid for with tax payers' money and are jointly funded by the Liverpool City Council and the Liverpool health authority; and calls upon the Health Authority to reject this unacceptable proposal.
