PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
HUNTING WITH DOGS (11 July 1999)
Motion Details
That this House, noting that it is now a year since the Wild Mammals (Hunting with Dogs) Private Members Bill was withdrawn, welcomes the reported comments of the Prime Minister that he wishes to see an end to this barbaric activity; calls on the government to immediately set in motion the necessary procedures so that a new Bill can be introduced without further delay; and requests that sufficient time be made available so that hunting with dogs becomes a thing of the past.
