PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
FUR FARMING (No. 2) (8 June 1999)
Motion Details
That this House congratulates the honourable Member for Liverpool, Garston on her recent Fur Farming (Prohibition) Bill; recognises that a significant number of honourable Members and a large proportion of the general public back a ban on this cruel, barbaric and unnecessary activity; is appalled that just a handful of honourable Members can block a Bill that has such widespread support; and calls on the Government to introduce its own legislation to ban fur farming as soon as possible.
