PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
RURAL HOSPITALS (29 June 1997)

Motion Details

That this House believes that the rurality of areas should be taken into account when decisions are taken on the closure of hospitals; considers that small rural hospitals are just as important to the communities they serve as large city hospitals; and calls on the Government to consider seriously the impact of the closure of small hospitals in the same way that it does large hospitals.
