PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
FACILITIES FOR THOSE WHO WORK IN THE HOUSE (17 June 1997)
Motion Details
That this House welcomes the additional facilities provided on the House of Commons Terrace; and calls upon the House authorities to re-examine the conditions of access to the Terrace in order that, particularly during the warmer weather, those who work in this House can enjoy the facilities rather than these being largely restricted to honourable Members and Officers and their guests, thereby promoting the Government 's culture of openness and inclusiveness.
