PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
A WOMAN'S RIGHT TO CHOOSE (5 June 1997)
Motion Details
That this House deplores the recent attempt brought before the courts in Scotland to overturn a woman's right to decide for herself whether she wants to become a mother; and, in order to avoid the risk to a woman's health caused by the delay and the distress which such actions bring, calls for clarification to reaffirm the legal position which allows for termination in well defined circumstances.
