FUTURE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE NHS AND PERSONAL SOCIAL SERVICES (3 November 1997)

leave out from 'community' to end and add 'notes that Health and Social Services are already jointly comissioned in Northern Ireland; further notes that Liberal Democrats amongst others are committed to bringing together health authorities and social service departments within the framework of elected local authorities; calls on the Government to initiate discussions with all political parties and other interested bodies to seek an agreement about the best ways of bringing together health and social service planning, commissioning and organisation; and further calls on the Government to extend joint commissioning to all parts of the United Kingdom.'.
