PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
ANNUAL REPORT FOR HONOURABLE MEMBERS (14 July 1997)
Motion Details
That this House believes that in order for honourable members to increase their reputation with the public they must become more accountable to their constituents; further believes that, in line with other bodies that represent public interests such as local authorities, health trusts and many voluntary bodies, they should be required to produce an annual report which would list their activities, earnings and voting record; and believes that this report should be delivered to the home of every constituent.
