COMPLETION OF THE TERM OF THE INDIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER (13 January 1998)

Motion Details

That this House notes that the Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr Laxmi Mall Singhvi, has returned home after almost seven years of distinguished service; notes his outstanding contribution to the enhancement of strong political, economic, trade and cultural links between Britain and India; praises his energetic and enthusiastic support for the British Asian community; notes his contribution in fostering the link between the British and India; and hopes that his positive contributions will be continued by his successor.
