ELECTION PROCESSES (17 December 1997)

That this House recognises the urgent need for reform of election law and election processes, thereby tackling the abuses of personation and bogus candidates amongst others; and furthermore recognises that returning officers work extremely well within the current That this House recognises the urgent need for reform of election law and election processes, thereby tackling the abuses of personation and bogus candidates amongst others; and furthermore recognises that returning officers work extremely well within the current guidelines but would benefit from, and welcome, a streamlining and modernisation of the election process.
