REFUGEE COUNCIL AND ASYLUM SEEKERS (11 December 1997)
Motion Details
That this House congratulates the Refugee Council for its work in providing assistance to asylum seekers made destitute by the provisions of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996; notes that this assistance will be especially welcome over the festive season; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to rapidly reinstate proper financial assistance to asylum seekers.
