MISUSE OF DRUG ROHYPNOL (11 December 1997)
Motion Details
That this House is deeply concerned about the reported misuse of the drug Rohypnol; is shocked by reports that hundreds of women each year are victims of sex attacks whilst under the influence of Rohypnol which is administered without their consent; is further concerned that information on how to misuse the drug is available on the Internet; and urges Her Majesty's Government to launch an investigation with a view to ending the misuse of Rohypnol and protecting individuals from becoming victims of its misuse, and to take action to ensure that those persons who have carried out sex attacks using Rohypnol are brought to justice.
