ROYAL COLLEGE OF MIDWIVES (4 December 1997)

Motion Details

That this House congratulates the Royal College of Midwives on their 50th anniversary of receiving their Royal Charter; notes that this makes it the oldest-established organisation representing midwives; further notes that the Royal College of Midwives represents 95 per cent. of midwives in the United Kingdom; wishes every success to its anniversary celebrations; and looks forward to the continuation of the Royal College of Midwives' work in promoting the health of women and their babies in the United Kingdom and overseas.
