ACCESS TO PERSONAL FILES - BARNARDO'S CHILDREN (1 December 1997)

Motion Details

That this House recognises the excellent work by Barnado's to assist former children gain details of their natural families; is concerned that thousands of former children may have to wait years for such information; recognises that the Government has a responsibility to assist Barnado's in this very important work; and calls upon the Government to allocate resources from its section 64 grant scheme to make sure that all outstanding enquiries are dealt with as soon as possible.
