AUTISM AWARENESS WEEK (27 November 1997)
Motion Details
That this House congratulates the National Autistic Society on this year's Autism Awareness Week; welcomes its publication Timetable and Autism; acknowledges the 120,000 children in the United Kingdom with autism spectrum disorders which can cause severe communication and behavioural problems; and commends the campaign by the National Autism Society to ensure the needs of autistic children are matched by the right educational provision.
