PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
THE CONSERVATIVE OPPOSITION (4 February 1998)

Motion Details

That this House appreciates the care and perception with which commentators in the serious media observe Parliamentary procedures and agrees with the judgment of the leading article in The Times of Wednesday 4 February that the Conservative Party's opposition to the Government in Parliament is 'overly intense and frenetic, obsessed with the short term, abrasive in presentation, trivial in the choice of material, and ultimately incredible'.
