WESTERN SAHARA (No. 2) (28 January 1998)

Motion Details

That this House deplores the Moroccan Government's recent violations of the United Nations agreements they signed for a free and fair referendum in Western Sahara; calls upon Morocco to allow former Saharawi prisoners of war to be identified, as instructed by the UN Secretary General, to stop obstructing Saharawi tribal leaders from entering Western Sahara and to stop transporting Moroccans to the identification centres; and urges the British Government to re-introduce its contingent to MINURSO.
