PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
30TH ANNIVERSARY OF CRISIS (10 March 1998)

That this House congratulates Crisis on 30 years work helping single homeless people and researching new methods of aid; welcomes Government approaches to tackle the problem of homelessness; supports the innovative programmes and schemes the charity runs every day of the year right across the United Kingdom to pull people out of the vicious cycle of homelessness; wishes Crisis well for a charity event to be held at the Globe Theatre in London on 29th March; and urges honourable Members of all parties to encourage their local authorities to have strategies to combat single homelessness and end the need for people to have to sleep rough.
