INFERTILITY FOCUS WEEK (21 June 1998)

Motion Details

That this House welcomes the launch of Infertility Focus Week on 22nd June by the National Infertility Awareness Campaign; notes that one in six couples experience difficulty conceiving; further notes that figures collated by the National Infertility Awareness Campaign show half of all infertile couples experience depression, and one in 20 become suicidal; further notes the publication of the National Infertility Awareness Campaign's new report, Infertility into the Millennium; and welcomes Her Majesty's Government's proposed guidelines on infertility services and calls for their early completion.
